Monde Nissin Invests Over P5 Billion in Pampanga Plant

Monde Nissin Corporation has committed more than P5 billion to build a manufacturing plant for its subsidiary, Monde M.Y. San Corporation, inside the TECO Industrial Park–Special Economic Zone in Mabalacat City, Pampanga. The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) confirmed that the Registration Agreement for the project was signed on June 23, 2025.

Project Details and Products

The facility will focus on producing Monde M.Y. San's core products, including the iconic SkyFlakes crackers and other food items that have been staples in Filipino households for decades. The investment underscores the company's commitment to expanding its manufacturing capacity in the Philippines.

The Registration Agreement was signed by PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga and Monde M.Y. San Corporation General Manager Keng Sun Mar. PEZA Deputy Director General for Operations Vivian S. Santos and Monde M.Y. San Corporation Procurement Manager Shirly Cabrera served as witnesses.

Timeline and Economic Impact

The new manufacturing facility is expected to begin operations in 2027. According to PEZA, the project will generate additional job opportunities and inject new vitality into Mabalacat City's economy.

Mayor Geld Aquino has welcomed the investment, noting that major investments continue to flow into the city. He pledged to advance programs aimed at positioning Mabalacat City as the premier investment hub of Central Luzon.
