More than 18,000 elementary teachers and over 45,000 secondary teachers have successfully passed the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Passing Rates and Numbers
The PRC reported that 18,376 out of 32,796 elementary teacher examinees (56.03 percent) passed the examination. For secondary teachers, 45,001 out of 61,561 examinees (73.10 percent) successfully passed the LET.
Among the elementary teacher passers, 15,670 were first-time takers and 2,706 were repeaters. For secondary teachers, 39,446 were first timers and 5,555 were repeaters.
Results Withheld and Registration Requirements
The PRC noted that the results of 58 examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
All successful examinees are required to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card include: the Notice of Admission (for identification only); a downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; two pieces of passport-size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag); two sets of documentary stamps; and one piece of short brown envelope.
