The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced outstanding results for the May 2025 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examinations, with two Kapampangan examinees achieving the highest honors and bringing immense pride to Central Luzon.
Meet the Top Performers
John Paul D. Laxamana, a distinguished graduate of San Beda University, achieved an exceptional rating of 90.83%, securing the number one position nationwide. His remarkable performance sets a new benchmark for accounting excellence.
Equally impressive, Jillian Rae G. Sicat from Holy Angel University in Angeles City, Pampanga, earned the second highest spot with a rating of 90.42%. Both topnotchers have demonstrated exceptional mastery of accounting principles and practices.

The outstanding achievements of Laxamana and Sicat highlight the quality of accounting education in Pampanga and the dedication of these young professionals. The PRC released the examination results showing that out of 5,789 examinees who took the challenging test, 2,884 successfully passed, representing a 49.82% passing rate. The successful candidates are now eligible to practice as certified public accountants in the Philippines and internationally.
