A 20-year-old man was hit by a motorcycle driven by a foreign national on the National Highway in Barangay Poblacion, Sibonga town, at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Victim Identified
The victim was identified as Jasper Turno Delicano, 20, a resident of the said barangay. He sustained bruises and abrasions on his body and was immediately brought to the Carcar City District Hospital for treatment.
Incident Details
According to the investigation of the Sibonga Municipal Police Station, the motorcycle involved was a Kawasaki driven by Nicholas John Owen, 58, a United Kingdom (UK) national. The victim reportedly suddenly crossed the road, and when he reached the middle of the highway, he was hit by the motorcycle, causing him to fall. The foreign national also fell from his vehicle due to the impact.
Due to the force of the collision, the victim was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
