In an interview on Thursday, March 5, Mayor Chan emphasized that these cost-saving steps are a precautionary response to anticipated oil price surges. She projected that fuel prices could rise by P5 to P10 per liter in the coming weeks, a significant increase that could strain both public and private budgets.
Resident Advisory on Conservation Practices
Mayor Chan has urged residents to adopt practical conservation methods in their daily lives. Recommendations include planning trips efficiently to reduce unnecessary travel and conserving resources such as water, electricity, and gasoline.
