One of the beneficiaries, Glenda Daño, expressed her gratitude to the city government for the immediate assistance provided to affected workers.

"It helped us because for several days we couldn't buy rice; this assistance we received now is a big help," she said.

During the event, beneficiaries also underwent an orientation on the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), which provides financial assistance to qualified individuals.

This initiative is part of the Lapu-Lapu City Government's efforts to provide urgent relief and sustainable livelihood opportunities for affected workers and their families.
