Cause of the Accident

Investigators determined that both drivers were at fault. PUJ 62B allegedly forced its way through the intersection despite the traffic light showing red, while PUJ 04I continued moving despite a yellow signal. This indicated that both vehicles proceeded without proper clearance.

Due to the speed of PUJ 62B, it struck PUJ 04I, causing the latter to overturn. The impact resulted in injuries to passengers from both jeepneys.

Casualties and Response

PUJ 04I carried four passengers, while PUJ 62B had 14 passengers. All 18 individuals were brought to the hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
