Police in Cebu City confiscated over P10.5 million worth of illegal drugs in separate operations conducted on Friday and Saturday, June 26-27, 2026.
Latest buy-bust operation
The most recent buy-bust occurred at around 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, conducted by members of the Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of the Mabolo Police Station in Sitio San Isidro, Barangay Mabolo. The suspect was identified as Cristito Tumampo Jr., 26, a resident of Sitio Magsaysay, Barangay Sawang Calero. Tumampo was on the Philippine National Police (PNP) list as a High Value Target (HVT). Seized from him were approximately 100 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P680,000, along with buy-bust money.
Earlier operation on Friday
On Friday, just past 11:10 p.m., June 26, a 21-year-old drug pusher was arrested by operatives of the City Intelligence Unit (CIU) on V. Rama Street in Barangay Calamba, Cebu City. The suspect was identified as James Eduard Nabua, a resident of the same area. Authorities recovered from his possession several packets of shabu weighing approximately 550 grams, valued at P3,740,000.
