TCL Philippines Caps 2025 as Top Panel TV Brand, Eyes Commercial HVAC
TCL Philippines 2025 Success: No. 1 Panel TV Brand

TCL Philippines has capped off a remarkable 2025, reinforcing its position as the nation's leading panel television brand while also making significant strides in the air conditioning and home appliance markets. The brand, which is celebrating 25 years of operation, attributes this success to deep consumer trust and a strategy centered on innovation and accessibility.

Leadership Built on Innovation and Consumer Trust

For two consecutive years, TCL has held the title of the Philippines' undisputed No. 1 panel TV brand. According to company executives, this leadership is not accidental but the result of a deliberate push to make premium technology, like QLED and Mini LED TVs, available to a broader market. Charlie Huang, Deputy Product Director, explained that Filipino consumers are increasingly seeking superior viewing experiences, moving beyond standard LED TVs.

Peter Chen, CEO of TCL Philippines, expressed immense pleasure at the market recognition. "2025 has been an overwhelmingly rewarding and successful year for TCL," Chen stated. "We are now strategically focused and look forward to building on this momentum with even more exciting milestones in the coming year." The brand's commitment extends beyond sales, focusing on a complete customer journey to foster long-term loyalty.

Expanding the Battlefield: From Residential to Commercial HVAC

Marking a pivotal strategic shift, TCL Philippines is leveraging its success in residential air conditioners to challenge established players in the commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) sector. Bert Cheung, Deputy Director of Air Solution and B2B Business, outlined an aggressive roadmap centered on cutting-edge technology and comprehensive project support.

"Being focused on distribution in the past, we are now shifting our business model into an HVAC company," Cheung said. The company will promote its TMV6 VRF System for commercial projects while continuing to highlight residential hero products featuring T-AI technology. This expansion aims to position TCL as a major partner for developers and large-scale projects.

Smart Home Anchors and a 2026 Roadmap

In the home appliance segment, TCL is making a strategic pivot with products like the TCL Super Drum C682 washing machine. Senior Product Manager Eric Li described the C682 as an 'anchor product' designed to recalibrate consumer perception towards TCL as a premium, high-technology innovator. The washing machine business is projecting a strong 30% revenue growth in 2025.

Looking ahead to 2026, TCL plans a major refresh of its refrigerator lineup under the Whitelines category. Furthermore, the company is prioritizing substantial enhancements to its customer service, post-purchase support, and warranty offerings. These improvements will be data-driven, focusing on speed and proactive ownership to solidify brand loyalty.

The brand's overall mission remains clear: to be the reliable partner for every Filipino home, delivering smart, technologically advanced appliances that simplify and enhance daily life across the archipelago.
