Children's Paradise Montessori School Unveils CPMS 2.0 for 21st Anniversary Milestone

Children's Paradise Montessori School (CPMS) commemorated its 21st anniversary with the official launch of "CPMS 2.0," a strategic renewal focused on fostering inclusive education and promoting sustainable mental well-being. The event, held on February 23, 2026, brought together educators, partners, and stakeholders to witness the formal rollout of this transformative initiative.

Community of Practice for Sustainable Mental Well-Being Takes Center Stage

At the heart of CPMS 2.0 is the establishment of a Community of Practice for Sustainable Mental Well-Being. This program is designed to enhance collaboration among specialists dedicated to supporting student mental health. Founder and president Marivic Bathan emphasized that this initiative builds upon the school's enduring commitment to child-centered learning, which is deeply rooted in care and intentional support.

Bathan stated, "Our program reinforces our long-standing dedication to nurturing every child through personalized attention and holistic development."

Expanding Reach with Consultants from Across the Philippines

The initiative has already garnered significant support, with fifteen consultants from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao joining the effort. These experts will actively participate in workshops and community-based engagements aimed at advancing mental health awareness and education.

Creative director Rudy Aviles highlighted the importance of collaboration and creativity in strengthening educational systems. "By working together and fostering innovative approaches, we can create more resilient and effective learning environments," Aviles remarked.

Integrating Mental Health and Life Skills into Montessori Programs

CPMS announced plans to continue integrating mental health awareness and life skills development into its Montessori curricula. This approach will benefit both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners, ensuring that all students receive comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs.

The anniversary celebration also featured cultural performances by CPMS students, including a Sinulog dance and a Rondalla musical presentation, symbolizing the school's vibrant community spirit.

With CPMS 2.0, the school aims to set a new standard in education by prioritizing inclusivity and mental well-being, paving the way for a more supportive and sustainable learning future.
