GMA Network Achieves Fifth TV Station of the Year Title at 2026 Platinum Stallion Awards

In a significant achievement for Philippine broadcasting, GMA Network has been named TV Station of the Year for the fifth time at the 2026 Platinum Stallion National Media Awards. This recognition underscores the network's enduring legacy and commitment to delivering trusted content nationwide.

News and Public Affairs Excellence

The network's flagship newscast, 24 Oras, once again secured the award for Best TV News Program. Veteran broadcast journalist Atom Araullo, anchor of State of the Nation, was hailed as the Male News Anchor of the Year, highlighting his impactful reporting and credibility.

GMA's public affairs programs also received top honors, with Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho winning Best News Magazine Program and I-Witness recognized as the Best Documentary TV Show. Additionally, Unang Hirit was named Best Morning Show, and Wish Ko Lang celebrated as the Best Public Service Program, with host Vicky Morales winning Best Public Service Program Host.

Regional and Radio Broadcasting Leadership

GMA Regional TV was honored as the Regional TV Network of the Year for the ninth consecutive year, demonstrating its extensive reach and influence across the Philippines. On the radio front, Super Radyo DZBB maintained its leadership by winning AM Radio Station of the Year, solidifying its excellence in audio broadcasting.
