Imelda Schweighart has denied claims that she was removed from the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) competition. The former Miss Philippines Earth dismissed reports that she was ousted due to alleged bullying of a fellow contestant, labeling the circulating news as fake.
Schweighart Speaks Out
In a statement, Schweighart clarified that there is no truth to the rumors that she was dismissed from MUPH because of bullying allegations. She urged the public to ignore the false information spreading online.
Current Pageant Path
Schweighart is now set to represent the country in the all-star edition of Miss Grand International. This development comes after her initial appointment as the official candidate of Kalibo, Aklan for the national pageant.
Recall that the Filipino-German beauty was first designated as the representative of Kalibo, Aklan in the Miss Universe Philippines competition. Despite the controversy, she remains focused on her upcoming international stint.
