Investigation and Impact Assessment
Investigators from the Bureau of Fire estimated the total damage at approximately P1,350,000. The fire affected 25 families, totaling 75 individuals, many of whom have been displaced and are now facing the challenge of rebuilding their lives.
The fire originated in a house owned by Juanario Sario but occupied by Mauricio Bascon. Constructed from light materials, the structure quickly ignited, allowing the flames to spread rapidly to neighboring homes, which were also made of similar combustible materials.
This incident highlights the vulnerabilities of residential areas built with light materials and underscores the importance of fire safety measures in densely populated communities. The Bureau of Fire continues to investigate the exact cause of the blaze to prevent future occurrences.
