A fierce fire tore through a residential area in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on Tuesday, completely destroying two houses and leaving a trail of destruction estimated at ₱11 million.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) responded to the emergency call around 11:30 AM, with firefighters battling the flames for approximately 30 minutes before bringing the blaze under control.

Extensive Property Damage

According to fire investigators, the total damage has been preliminarily assessed at eleven million pesos. The fire consumed two residential structures, reducing homes and belongings to ashes.

Property owners affected by the fire include:

  • Randy Cabañero - whose home was completely destroyed
