Jayme was swimming in the sea with his family as part of a celebration for his father's birthday. However, at approximately 3:00 PM, he suddenly disappeared from sight, prompting his family to seek immediate assistance in locating him. The authorities were alerted to the incident at 4:10 PM that same day, and a rapid response was initiated involving the police and members of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).
Search and Recovery Efforts
