Bea Millan-Windorski, Miss Universe Philippines 2026, has responded to those questioning her Filipino identity. In an interview with GMA on Thursday, the 23-year-old Filipina-American said she does not pay attention to bashers, as her focus is on delivering on her promises.

“I don’t want to listen to the bashers because what’s most important is the work that has to be done. And the work that has to be done is making sure I deliver on the promises I’ve made,” Bea stated. She emphasized that Miss Universe Philippines carries a huge responsibility.

Background and Advocacy

Bea, who was first crowned as Miss Earth USA 2024, was born and raised in America. Her mother is originally from La Union. She is currently focusing on her advocacy for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), the environment, and the LGBTQIA+ community. She is also preparing for the upcoming Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November.
