ILOILO CITY – With Undas 2025 approaching, Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) director Police Brigadier General Jack L. Wanky has taken proactive measures to ensure public safety by conducting comprehensive security inspections at key locations throughout Iloilo.

Pre-Holiday Security Assessment

BGen Wanky personally led the inspection team to critical transportation and public gathering sites, focusing on preparedness for the expected surge of travelers and visitors during the All Saints' Day observance.

The security sweep covered multiple strategic locations:

  • Iloilo International Airport in Cabatuan
  • Various seaports across the province
  • Major public cemeteries throughout Iloilo

Enhanced Security Protocols

During the inspections, Wanky emphasized the importance of heightened vigilance and coordinated efforts among security personnel. The PRO-6 has implemented additional security measures including:
