SWS Survey Reveals Infidelity Experiences Among Filipino Adults
A recent nationwide survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) has uncovered significant insights into infidelity experiences among Filipino adults. The survey, which was carried out from November 24 to 30, 2025, involved face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults across the country. The findings indicate that approximately one in four Filipinos, or 27 percent, have either witnessed or personally experienced acts of infidelity.

Among respondents who acknowledged witnessing or experiencing cheating, 43 percent expressed belief that trust can be restored between partners. This suggests that nearly half of affected individuals see potential for reconciliation and rebuilding of relationships after infidelity incidents.
The survey further revealed that 72 percent of respondents reported neither witnessing nor experiencing infidelity, indicating that a majority of Filipino adults maintain faithful relationships. However, the 27 percent figure underscores that infidelity remains a significant social issue affecting a substantial minority of the population.
