Medalle recalled slipping twice on the wetter parts of the trail, whereas Dela Cerna mentioned that meeting fellow hikers along the way stood out as the most memorable aspect of the experience.
Most of the hikers expressed their intention to return to the Spartan Trail now that they are more familiar with the route. Medalle, however, found the steepness particularly challenging and indicated she might attempt the hike again when she feels better prepared.
