Police Respond Quickly

Police immediately responded and arrested Lolong, who was drunk at the time because he had just come from a fiesta.

When questioned, Lolong explained that he was angry at his mother because she suddenly turned on the light when he was about to sleep, startling him due to the sudden brightness.

Suspect Denies Intent to Kill

He argued that he had no intention of killing his mother, as he still loves and respects her.

The suspect added that because his sleep was disturbed, he just sharpened his knife to prepare for gathering wood, not to stab and kill his mother.

Mother's Fear Leads to Arrest

However, due to the mother's panic when she saw her son carrying a knife, she quickly asked for help, resulting in the suspect's arrest. He now faces a possible charge of Attempted Parricide.
