The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) has significantly bolstered its partnership with local media through a dedicated forum titled SPOX Time: “Inform, Engage, Protect”, held on February 12, 2026. This event, conducted at the ICPO Headquarters in Camp Achilles D. Plagata, Iloilo City, aimed to foster public awareness and strengthen police-community relations by engaging directly with press representatives.

Police Colonel Wilbert B. Parilla, the officer in charge of the ICPO, underscored the critical role of the media as a partner in public service. “Magtulungan tayo. The police and the media share a common goal: to inform the public truthfully, promote awareness, and help maintain peace and order in our community,” Parilla stated. He added that through responsible reporting and open communication, this collaboration strengthens public trust and ensures accurate information dissemination to the community.
