Arrest Details
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Cebu City Field Unit served a warrant of arrest against Michelle Go Chu, also known as Michelle Lim Go Chu, 44, a Filipino-Chinese resident of Real Street, Barangay West, Ormoc City. She was apprehended at White Hills Subdivision, Banawa, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, based on warrants issued by different courts in Cebu City.
Charges and Bail
Chu faces eight counts of Estafa. Six of these cases do not allow bail, while the remaining two have bail amounts set at PHP 108,000 and PHP 80,000. Her arrest was carried out under the "Oplan Pagtugis" flagship program of the CIDG.
Most Wanted Status
Chu was listed as number 8 on the list of most wanted persons in Central Visayas.
