Suspect Apprehended After Bypassing Cashier
The suspect, identified only as alias Loisa, a resident of Lapu-Lapu City, is now detained at the Cebu City Police Office facing theft charges. According to the investigation by the Mabolo Police Station, Loisa was caught by the on-duty security guard after she failed to pass through the cashier’s booth to pay for the items she had placed inside a black backpack.
Recovered Items Valued at Nearly P8,000
Recovered from the suspect were the t-shirts and shorts, which had a total value of nearly P8,000. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about shoplifting in commercial establishments in the city.
