Commendation from Police Leadership
Police Brigadier General Josefino Ligan, the regional director of the Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6), publicly praised the operating units for their successful execution of the anti-drug operation. In his statement, Ligan emphasized the broader implications of such achievements.
"This accomplishment reflects Police Regional Office 6's strong and sustained commitment to the fight against illegal substances. Every confiscation disrupts the supply chain and helps protect families and communities from the harmful effects of drugs," Ligan remarked, highlighting the proactive measures taken to safeguard public welfare.
Call for Community Involvement
PRO 6 has reiterated the critical role of community participation in the ongoing anti-drug campaign. Law enforcement officials are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. This collective effort is deemed essential for ensuring a safer and drug-free environment across Western Visayas, reinforcing the message that public cooperation is a cornerstone of effective crime prevention.
The successful operation not only represents a significant blow to local drug networks but also serves as a testament to the dedication and coordination of Iloilo's police forces in upholding law and order.
