Several showbiz personalities voted 'Yes' on the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte, including Richard Gomez (Leyte Fourth District), Arjo Atayde (Quezon City First District), Lani Mercado (Cavite Second District), and her children Jolo Revilla (Cavite First District) and Bryan Revilla (Agimat Party-list).
Other 'Yes' Votes
Former PBA player and Quezon City Third District Rep. Franz Pumaren also voted 'Yes,' as did Batangas Sixth District Rep. Ryan Recto, son of Star for All Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto. Tingog Party-list Rep. and 1996 Bb. Pilipinas-International Yedda Marie Mendoza-Romualdez, wife of former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, and Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo, husband of former Willing Willie co-host Shalani Soledad, also voted in favor.
Additional 'Yes' votes came from FPJ Panday Bayanihan Party-list Rep. Brian Poe, son of former Senator Grace Poe; Negros Occidental First District Rep. Julio Ledesma IV, husband of Assunta de Rossi; Zambales First District Rep. Jefferson 'Jay' Khonghun, ex-boyfriend of Aiko Melendez; Quezon City Fifth District Rep. PM Vargas, brother of Alfred Vargas; and Pangasinan Third District Rep. and former MTRCB Chair Rachel Arenas.
'No' Votes and Abstentions
Those who voted 'No' to impeachment included former TV host, MTRCB board member, and Cebu First District Rep. Rachel 'Cutie' del Mar; Cavite Fourth District Rep. Kiko Barzaga; and Batangas First District Rep. Leandro Leviste, son of Senator Loren Legarda. Meanwhile, those who abstained included Pampanga Second District Rep. and former Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and Ilocos Sur First District Rep. Ronald Singson, ex-partner of Lovi Poe.
