According to investigations conducted by the Abellana Police Station 2, based on statements from two guards, the suspect was observed taking a can of Ensure Gold milk valued at P2,271 without proceeding to the checkout counter to make payment.

The guards swiftly intervened, stopping the suspect and conducting a body search, during which the expensive milk product was recovered. Authorities revealed that alias Pada, a resident of Sityo Dumar Lower, Barangay T. Padilla, Cebu City, has a prior history of theft, having been previously arrested for stealing a deodorant. During questioning, she allegedly admitted to taking the milk with the intention of reselling it for personal gain. She is currently in custody at the Abellana Police Station as the case progresses.

Kiosk Break-in on Sanciangko Street

In a separate incident, a 34-year-old unmarried man, identified as alias Bernard, was arrested for breaking into a kiosk located at Sanciangko Street, corner Osmeña Blvd., Cebu City. The arrest took place around 2:00 AM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, after a witness observed suspicious activity and promptly reported it to the police.

Investigations indicate that the suspect forcibly entered the kiosk by damaging the rear portion, subsequently stealing items including a tablet, a cellphone, and a small speaker.
