Recto Calls Leviste's Attacks 'Barking of a Foolish Dog'
Recto: Leviste's Attacks Like Barking of Foolish Dog

Executive Secretary Ralph Recto strongly condemned what he described as the lies of Representative Leandro Leviste. According to Recto, he can no longer ignore the baseless slander repeatedly thrown against him.

Recto revealed that during their first meeting, Leviste allegedly offered PHP 400 million to bribe a political opponent, which Recto immediately rejected. He added that a larger offer of PHP 1 billion followed, supposedly for the withdrawal of Governor Vilma Santos-Recto, which Recto again refused as an insult and a lack of respect.

Recto further stated that Leviste's true intention was to seize thousands of hectares of sugarcane hacienda in Nasugbu, something he never allowed. He also denied allegations regarding ghost projects and flood control issues, insisting that all his projects in Batangas are properly documented and beneficial to the public.

Recto criticized Leviste's alleged vote-buying operations, troll farms, and 'factory of lies' aimed at discrediting cabinet members and the administration. He called these desperate moves to evade responsibility for ghost solar projects that have caused billions in debt.

In his statement, Recto labeled Leviste a 'bitter brat' with no respect for his own mother, willing to sacrifice truth for personal gain. Recto emphasized that in his three decades of service, he has never encountered someone so greedy, cunning, and deceitful. He said that such 'psychotic sideshows' should not be given time, as they only aim to divert public attention from real issues.

Finally, Recto urged everyone to return to work and ignore the 'foolish dog that keeps barking,' concluding his strong remarks against Leviste.
