Chao Sy International Promotions (CSIP) and Hong Kong-based Verano Boxing Gym have joined forces to present the “Fist of Fury 12” boxing promotion on July 26, 2026, at Robinsons Galleria Cebu. The event will be free to the public, according to Cebuano boxing patron Lorenzo “Chao” Sy, owner of CSIP.
Partnership Details
Sy stated that Jake Verano, owner of Verano Boxing Gym and a former boxer from the now-defunct ALA Boxing Stable in Cebu, initiated the collaboration. Sy expressed no hesitation in accepting the partnership, viewing it as part of his goal to revive boxing in Cebu. “I want fighters from other places to come here and fight, to give the people a different kind of boxing action. These are big weight divisions,” Sy said during a mini press conference on Monday, July 6.
Main Event
The main event features Carlo Bacaro of Cebu against Channarong Injampa of Thailand for the vacant World Boxing Foundation (WBF) Silver welterweight title. Bacaro, a former Omega Boxing Gym boxer, holds a record of 14 wins, 2 losses, and 8 knockouts. Injampa has a record of 21 wins, 25 losses, and 15 knockouts. Sy assured that all fights in the promotion will be exciting and full of action.
Undercard and Other Bouts
Undefeated Verano boxer Saagar Pradhan will face Chan Sala of Thailand in a non-title bout. Pradhan has an 8-0 record with 3 knockouts, while Sala has a 13-12 record with 8 knockouts. The complete fight card will be announced in the coming days.
CSIP and Verano Boxing Gym have also partnered with Ringside Cebu to promote the event.
