The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 50 Commissioner's Cup finals series between Brgy. Ginebra Gin Kings and TNT Tropang 5G is expected to be a thrilling, hard-fought battle, if Game 1 is any indication.

On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the Gin Kings secured a nail-biting 102-100 victory, led by two consecutive crucial four-point shots from RJ Abarrientos and a game-winning jumper by import Justin Brownlee.
Now, on Friday night, June 5, Ginebra will attempt to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
“I expect the same kind of game in Game 2 and the rest of the series,” said Ginebra coach Tim Cone, as quoted on www.pba.ph.
