Filipino pool master Chezka Centeno has revealed her intense focus on defending her crown at the Banca del Fucino World Pool Association (WPA) Women's 10-Ball Championship, set to begin on July 31, 2026, in Rome, Italy.

Centeno's Determination to Retain Title

Centeno expressed her strong desire to defend her second world title, which she won by defeating compatriot Rubilen Amit in a five-set match, 3-2 (4-1, 2-4, 4-2, 3-4, 4-2), in last year's edition held in Bali, Indonesia.

With this goal in mind, the 26-year-old Centeno is currently in rigorous preparation, training intensely to maintain her championship form.

Early Start and First World Title

Centeno, who started playing billiards at the age of five in her hometown of Zamboanga City, first became world champion in the 2023 edition held in Klagenfurt, Austria. She aims to add another title to her growing legacy.
