The state weather bureau has detected a new low pressure area (LPA) within the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR). The LPA's center was located more than 900 kilometers east of Northeastern Mindanao, according to the bureau's latest monitoring.
Uncertain Path and Potential Impact
The weather bureau stated that it is still uncertain which areas might be affected if the LPA moves toward land. The agency assured the public that it is continuously monitoring the LPA and will issue immediate advisories if there are any changes in its condition.
As of now, the LPA has no direct effect on the country. However, the public is advised to remain vigilant and to listen to official weather advisories for updates.
