Typhoon Basyang brought torrential rains to the region, followed by a complete power outage that complicated preparations. Despite having a full band ready to perform, the congregation found themselves without electricity or immediate access to a generator.
Local electric company personnel reported that repairs would be challenging since a falcata tree had damaged an electric post. With only a power station operating at 30% battery capacity, the celebration was reduced to basic elements: one microphone and one guitar.
