The NLEX Road Warriors secured the No. 1 seed after an overtime victory against the Titan Ultra Giant Risers, 123-112, in the premier game on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, during the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 50 Commissioner's Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
The Road Warriors completed their elimination round assignments with a 10-2 record. Cady Lalanne, Robert Bolick, and Schonny Winston all registered big numbers to lead the Warriors in withstanding the challenge from the Giant Risers, who fell to a 2-9 record.
Lalanne produced 29 points, added 25 points, while Winston chipped in 24 points. Meanwhile, the Magnolia Hotshots ignored the prowess of TNT Tropang 5G import Bol Bol as they posted a 106-94 victory in the main game. In that game, Bol Bol scored 53 points. The Hotshots and Tropang 5G both hold a 6-5 record.
